Sarah Marche, Board Director

Sarah is responsible for Highmark’s Pharmacy Benefit Business, including Clinical and Specialty Pharmacy, Pharmacy Product, Operations, and Pharmacy Vendor management. She leads a team of clinical resources that includes nurses, pharmacists, and medical directors responsible for consulting with clients and advising our customers on how they can optimize clinical and cost outcomes related to their medical and pharmacy benefits through an integrated benefit. She joined Highmark Inc. as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in 2005 with a focus on Formulary and Utilization Management for the Commercial and Medicare Part D lines of business ensuring Highmark provided coverage of clinical and cost-effective drug therapy. Dr. Marche received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University and then completed a Pharmacy Practice residency with University of Pittsburgh.
